Loading movies off your computer and playing them on your Andriod

I recently got this phone it is a Samsung Galaxy Ace s5830d.

I took the 4gig memory card out and put it in my laptop and loaded the selected movies I wanted from the pc to the memory card and when I put the card back in the phone and tried to play the movie it said there is no supported app...so am I missing something here?

Depending on what types of files those movies are, you may need to download an alternative video player from the market as the stock one has been, in my experience, limited.

Moboplayer has been good to me but there are others.

MX Video player plays most, if not all codecs...

MoboPlayer plays all types of videos. RockPlayer will also do the same - both are similar players.
