Am I able to choose which replacement handset sprint sends?

Hello all,
I'm currently on my second Evo 3D (Sprint replaced my first one because a circuit board that controlled the screen burnt out). This second E3D, which just came in less than a month ago, has since developed an issue with the digitizer where it has phantom touches on the bottom of the screen immediately above the menu and back buttons. This often affects my use of the phone (it sometimes calls people on its own or hangs up on calls!) and I'm taking it back to Sprint tomorrow. What I would like to know is if there would be a way to convince Sprint to give me an Epic Touch 4g instead of another refurbished Evo 3D.
Thanks!

You have to have multiple instances of the problem and multiple exchanges before they will offer a comparable model. You do not get to choose.

I hate to rehash old threads, but I'd rather come back here than make a new thread and risk redundancy :)
So I'm on my THIRD E3D, and the digitizer is starting to mess up on this one -.-
It's not awful yet, just a slight inconvenience while using Swype, so I won't take it in unless it gets worse over the next few weeks.

My question this time is this: When will the Epic 4G Touch be considered an "equivalent phone" to the Evo 3D? When I went in the Sprint store this most recent time, I was told the Epic 4G Touch was too new of a phone and I would have to wait for it to age a little bit before I would be able to get one on the broken phone replacement... So does anyone know when the Epic Touch 4G will be old enough?

You will have to call Sprint and ask them what the comparable models are for the EVO 3D

No chance on getting it replaced with the Epic Touch 4G, as the other member mentioned they will offer you something comparable.

I would guess it would be the NS4G. They came out close to the same time. I think the EVO 3D was released about a month apart.

How is the epic 4g touch not comparable? It's as similar to the 3D as the Photon is, and was released only 3 months after it.

Try you will see, they have a chart of phones that they can swap out for, and I am sure that is not one of them, give it a shot and let us know, good luck!!
