Juice Defender and Gingerbread issues?

I've tried searching, and couldn't find much on JD & Gingerbread, so apologies if this is a dup - if so, please point me in the direction of the discussion.

Epic 4G / Gingerbread / not rooted /Sprint

Ever since I got GB, whenever JD starts up I get this slew of error messages about AOSP helper not found or updated, regular AOSP installation not possible on Android 2.3+ and then "we can *attempt8 a dangerous force-install of the AOSP helper! Fingers crossed!"

Then it runs, but I'm seeing a few other problems and am wondering if this is related. Like occasionally, when I wake the phone up, I have no 3G icon. I usually end up having to restart the phone, although I thought I pushed some random setting and got it back, but I forget which one:confused:.

Is this a known problem? (And are the error messages something to worry about?) I've seen a few threads that it isn't nec w/ GB, but I've gotten really lazy about turning things off if I'm not using them so it's pretty handy.

You're probably not finding much on JD & Gingerbread.. since you don't need JD if you have Gingerbread.

Well. I'm an idiot. I thought JD was a task killer. Tasker is what folks used to automate data access and such (of course, there's never just one app for anything).

I guess I'm glad my battery makes it a day with how I use the phone.... so I haven't looked into things like JD all that much.

Sorry for being unhelpful.
