Root Need help after deleting bloatware

Evening All! Looking for some help from my fellow nexicans. So, while waiting for the Nexus to come out, I decided to clean up my DX to get it ready to pass it down. I did a factory reset and all was well. Then I decided I would go ahead and re-root to get rid of the bloatware. Here was my mistake...I was reading this forum at the same time (and was distracted) and made a critical mistake and deleted the bloatware instead of freezing it in Titanium. Now, I can't dial from contacts. When you try, it opens and immediately closes. I would do a clean sweep again, but i am pretty certain without the bloatware there, I will end up in a loop. Any one have any thoughts?

Can't you just re-flash the rom you're using?

(Not a DX user, so don't know.)

Failing that, re-install via RUU and re-root?

Thanks, DX does not RUU, uses an SBF. I have not been able to find the SBF for this build. I can't re-install current Rom as it is stock and wont reinstall without the verizon bloatware. Thanks for the link, I have been reading through all of that tonight.

Can I flash back to an earlier stock file? I am on build 605 and 602 is the only sbf i can find.

If you SBF back to .602, the unrooted version, you should get the OTA .605 update within minutes (or pull it down) then go from there.
I'll see if I can find a SBF for .605 but I don't recall there ever being one.

EDIT* there is no .605 SBF file. 602 is the closest you'll find. Sorry M8

Thanks, I did find this,
[ROM] Stock-Rooted-Deodexed 4.5.605
but it isn't an sbf, so I was hesitant. I think I will do the .602 and let it do the OTA to .605, then re root and freeze bloatware. Any thoughts on what bloatware I deleted that corrupted the dialer from contacts?

i'm just seeing this. I assume your talking DX. It sounds like you may have deleted the yahoocontacts.apk or something like that. It is known that if you do that it will FC your dialer.

use this when deleting bloat. Personally i like to Freeze bloat instead using TiBu

Thanks, I was distracted and deleted instead of freezing, I know better. I found thread with the apk and odex for all the file in the original .605. I too thought it might have been the yahoo contacts however I moved both files to the system folder/ app and tried to install and received a did not install error. Not sure what else to do but sbf .602 then ota to .605 and re root.
