Help Skype video not working?

Anybody else's camera not working for video calls on Skype? Tried video calling a friend of mine but my camera wouldn't work but I could still see my friend.

It said something about my phone not being certified but I am not sure if that's the case.

Skype has to update their app to be compatible with new phones. Since this phone just came out yesterday, it will take a couple days (hopefully) before it is supported. But with the popularity of this device, I'm sure that it won't be too long. In the meantime, Google Talk with video works right out of the box.

Yeah I wrote about this yesterday in another thread. Someone replied with an xda version of Skype which would work. I havn't tried installing that yet. I have tried using Tango, and its works with no issue.

I am a new member to this post so I can not post the link but I can verify that the XDA version 12 (2.5.0.108) does work. Had to uninstall official Skype then install XDA version 11 (2.1) then uninstall that, then install version 12. Did not work at first so, did everything all over again (all steps) and has been working since yesterday. LTE provide very clear video and voice reception. Extremely Happy. Google XDA Skype 2.5.0.108.

Its still not working on the motorola razr xt910 here in the uk i assume it is just the american version xt912 that is working.

I used the modified version from XDA and it worked on my UK XT910.
