Trouble with music player

Alright this seems like a dumb question but I'm stumped. I've searched around the related threads but couldnt find an answer
Basically i have the LG Vortex running droid(obv) and i transferred a bit of my music off my PC to (EAndroid/Data. Well it all copied over just fine, i didn't run out of memory while the mp3's were transferring so i believe they were copied over correctly.

The problem is Music Player(default with phone) doesn't seem to recognize the files.

As i said there has to be something that i'm missing

Any help would be very apprieciated, plz help

EAndroid/Data

No need to put them in that folder,just make a folder on the root of your SD Card,name it music and put the music in there. The music player should find them then.
