This one worked for me. A lot cleaer. Makes me so jealous. Seems fast on the phone too. And if the guys weather is true, he is in NY. Wonder what bootup time is. I guess time will only tell. Thanks!

So hard to decide to wait for root, especially when 11 guys are at it, or take the OTA whenever it comes... Temptation is a real b%$#h. No wonder Eve bit the damn apple.

Maybe I should have bought a WinMo phone...can't believe they have already rooted to a completely different OS, let alone it being 2.1, before native android phones are there. What seems to bethe holdup with Verizon and HTC?

I got rid of my house phone, maybe if I look on craigs list for an old rotary phone I can throw 2.1 on it
