Unable to install KaKao Talk

I currently live in South Korea and have a Samsung Galaxy II phone.

I've tried to install KaKaoTalk and when I go to validate my phone number, I get the following error message, "Failed to verify your telephone number. Please retry after 24 hours."

I've tried to uninstall/reinstall the app and this didn't fix the issue.

Was wondering if anyone else is having this issue?

Also live in South Korea, but have never had any problem installing Kakao Talk.
Any luck yet? Maybe the servers were down....Ive had a few times where it just kept trying to connect to server, but couldn't.

But an hour later it worked no problem.
 
Sorry man, no idea at all.
I have installed kakao talk many of times and never had a problem that time didnt fix.

Do you have kakao talk installed on another device with the same phone number by chance?
 
Did you ever fix this issue? I currently have a Galaxy Nexus and when I try to validate it says "unfortunately messagin has stopped . . . " I am currently running ICS. It does this until it asks me to wait 24 hours before trying again.

Maybe it is because I have not registered my phone at Olleh in Korea yet? But it is working fine, all calls and texts work fine, just not from KAKAO validation. Please advise.
