Titanium Backup question.

I have a MyTouch 4G and before the newest software update, it was rooted, and I was able to use Titanium Backup to back up data from a few apps.

I received the Gingerbread update (which wiped my phone) and now Titanium Backup is incompatible.

There is only one backup file I want the info from.. it is a mileage app... and I can't access the data now.

Does anyone have any ideas how I could get that info?

It should still be able to restore the app data, try clearing the app data for Titanium Backup in settings> application> manage applications.

No, it still did not work. I performed a fresh install, and then I did the clear app data. It won't let me perform any actions because a pop up says the phone is not rooted and needs to be rooted for Titanium to work. :( :*(

When you take official updates, they unroot your phone. So you would have to re-root to reinstall the app using Titanium.
