Smart Silencer and Android 2.3

Looking at the app, it looks like it does the same thing "silent time lite" does, and silent time is free. I could be wrong, ss might do something else more, I'm not sure. Maybe give that a try.

But you need to calm down, you posted 3 times only within a few hours, if nobody answered your question then they just might not know, everyone here are just people, not workers waiting to answer your questions as soon as possible.

I tried Silent Time Lite and it didn't work either. It seems I read something somewhere about 2.3 removing permissions for the ringer or something and thats why they aren't working but I can't find it again. I was hoping someone here might know or have a workaround. And the reason I posted three times within "a few hours" is because topics on a board like this for more than an hour seem to get berried deep where no on see them. Sorry if I offended you.

I'm running on 2.3.5 and silent time lite works great for me.

That's what I'm running. No clue what I'm doing wrong then..........got any tips on how it works! lol Thought it was pretty easy but it just won't work, nor will Smart Silencer.

Lol, I don't even really know how to explain how it works because it's all pretty self explanatory when you go into the app... If you let me know how you set yours up, I may be able to tell you if I've done something different though.
 
In settings I only have the top two checked. Enable notifications and Play sound on notification. Then I added the people for exceptions, each marked quick quiet. When I turn on qwick quiet and set the duration everything is silenced.
