Post here if you received the OTA update.

...and the prerequisite was that your phone is active on a tmo data network for a minimum of 36 hours STRAIGHT!

Great, now I get to obsess about keeping my phone on/connected ontop of frantically checking for this mythical update. Gotta love tmo's laserlike focus on customer service!

wow this forum seems dead as everyone is saddened over the fact that 95% of us didn't receive any update:(, It is almost the 27th now and we are all just sitting back, and saying to our selves what did we do wrong to not receive the update? I'm thinking that the post earlier was right...maybe all that flashing back and forth to other roms screwed us over.:(

I only know 3 people in this forum got update, so it should be 99,9% of us do not get update yet.

what really sucks is that ever sense we came up with the idea to have the next person who gets the update to save the file before they install it, has not received the update to do so.

YES, please save the update, if not for the other members to apply it, for BH_MAN to rebuild his ROM.

Didn't Pppppfffht(sp) say that there was no zip on her SD card?
And if there is such a file, wouldn't Yati or behold_this have sent it? These are the beloved 3 with the update.

I am having a problem with the fact that this is the largest Android forum online and only 3 people got this update on time.

To you long-term Tmo customers: Is this typical behavior?

when I had the G1, with the cupcake update...(those were the days!!!)...I got it on time!

Here are the steps, in case the link ever breaks:

1. Power off your phone and charge it until the indicator turns green.
2. Boot to recovery mode and go to console (or adb shell) and type:
mount -a [enter]
rm /data/system/batterystats.bin [enter]
3. Reboot the phone and run it until it shuts off by itself. (TIP: Turn your screen brightness all the way up and change the Screen Timeout setting to “Never timeout.” This will drain your battery very quickly.)
4. Recharge the phone completely and then use it as you normally would
i try to follow these steps to fix the battery issue in my BH2 ( i am running BH_Man rom) How can i go to console (or adb shell) ?

I tried this....it really doesn't do much for it, only the update will fix the battery issues!

If you think about it, this update file might be as large as 40-50mb. So on Edge network like myself, this update would take a crap load of time to download, so maybe thats the hold up. Correct me if I'm wrong!

but this process says i have to go to recovery mode first. But every time i'm in recovery mode, the phone auto restore by itself, so i can not do anything.
