Help Extreme lock screen lag

Both my lock slider and lock dots lag by a second or two. How do i fix this?

I think there needs to be some more information, like are you using the stock lockscreen, what else you have running, etc. Your lag is long if it takes more than a second from swipe to your home screen.

I'm using the stock lock screen. I might buy the ICS lock screen though

I noticed mine was starting to lag and realized I had not rebooted in over a week. Rebooted and it was back to being fast with no lag

I said that may times and am going to repeat it - a reboot every 2-3 days is always a good thing for Android and other smartphones.

I use a widget called Uptime Widget that shows how long the phone has been on for and also the longest it has ever been on. Works for me.

After 3-4 days without rebooting, the lock screen may lag. I have had it happen and I have heard of others having the same problem. A regular reboot takes care of the problem and the lag disappears.

Yes, you can use task killer apps, but it won't resolve the lag issue.
Bottom line- you need to restart to stop the lag

I downloaded Golocker... works much better than the stock one, but I never had an issue
