My wife just got this phone and it totally blows my Evo Shift out of the water, performance wise. Why couldn't they have made with a slide out keyboard like the original Epic 4g? Then I would want one for sure!

Probably because research shows most people don't want a slide out keyboard. If they did, I am sure Samsung would have made one and you would see a lot more of them on the market.

My first Android was the Epic, chosen for the keyboard option. But now I'm a TOTAL Swype convert and really like having the slimmer, sexier profile of a keyboardless phone.

This screen keyboard is much larger then my old samsung moment with the physical keyboard. no contest here.
