2.3.6 OTA update fixed bluetooth issue

I have a Parrot CK3000 evolution bluetooth car kit in my car that had previously worked great with numerous phones. With the Droid Razr MAXX, I had a weird issue with the bluetooth.

The phone would pair with the carkit just fine. However, on calls, while I could hear the other party great via the radio, they couldn't hear me unless I held the phone to my face. Basically, the phone paired, but the mic didn't.

I did numerous searched for ideas but nothing. I was about to try a new carkit when the 2.3.6 OTA update became available. I ran the update and all works great now.

Just wanted to share in case anyone else had similar issues.

I found this post while searching for compatibility on Google. This is very good info, thanks for letting us know. The only other information that might be relevant is what firmware version is installed in the CK3000. I intended to update my CK3000 to the latest version once received anyway.

My razr maxx has been doing the exact same thing that you described. I am running 2.3.6 on my device and can't figure out what to do. if I can't get it fixed I may have to return my razr.... it's a limited edition razr so I would rather not but I travel 70 miles a day and must have my bluetooth for handsfree!
