Go Launcher EX Contacts Quirk

I've just started to use Go Launcher EX on my Samsung Galaxy SII and love it. I've also downloaded the Contacts app, which is generally fine, except......

In my Gmail contacts list, if I have a phone number set as 'Home' for example, it displays it as 'Other' but not all of them! Some are displayed correctly but some listed as 'Mobile' may be shown as Mobile/Home.

All in all it's a bit of a dog's breakfast, although I have to say that it's a relatively unimportant problem that won't stop me using Go Launcher Contacts.

Has anyone come across this and is there a fix? Perhaps I should email the developer but I don't want to waste their time if it can be cured?

Surely there must be someone out there using Go Launcher Ex Contacts? And if you are, does yours show your telephone number descriptions accurately?

I emailed Go Launcher a couple of days ago but haven't had a reply.

I have Go Contacts EX (actually I just use the dialer because I prefer it over the stock one, and still use the TW Contacts app). Checking on mine, yep, Home, Mobile and Work all show up fine and correct. Using Galaxy SL.

Thank you for taking the trouble. Just to make sure that we're talking about exactly the same thing, let me just reiterate my problem.

Using GL EX Contacts, each individual contact displays normally in that, if a phone number is set as 'Home' it displays as that on the contact's individual page.

My problem is on the list of contacts. Whilst it will display as 'Home' on the contact's page, on the full list of contacts many of them say 'Other' for instance. It's very strange.

I imported all my contacts from Palm using at least two different steps, which I can't even remember. I have gone through them all to ensure that they have the correct phone number descriptions and they are correct in everything but the GL list. Perhaps in the import process there's some minor problem?

Of course the TW full list doesn't display the phone number descriptions anyway, mine certainly doesn't.

So, in your Go Launcher EX Contacts full list, are the descriptions correct?
