Problem with live wallpaper

Had a problem with elefun live wallpaper on my laptop. Downloaded a wallpaper(didn't read everything either) and had a problem uninstalling it. Had to do a system restore. Now, I'm new to this, is this a common problem for newbies?

I have heard that wallpapers and wallpaper apps are high on the list for distributing malware. I'd give them all a wide berth.

Yeh free things like this can sometimes contain spyware, malware, etc. That Justin Bieber live wallpaper may look pretty, but in the background it's uploading all your personal private information to Nigeria, Syria or Russia and key-logging everything you type.
