I would wait until texting and data is working on this ROM before you switch. Those are the only 2 things not working (Besides HDMI of course)
 
Will do then.. Also, when switching to this updated ROM, too keep all my old stuff can I just flash over it and not Factory Rest?? but still do the wipes?

I'm pretty sure you'll have to factory reset. I didn't update the ROM, I just ported an updated ROM from another phone. You can do a Titanium backup though.
 
I like it, however there was no keyboard when I flashed. After I fixed that, I liked it but I like simple animations
 
you should call it "MIUI GB Revamped" :D it sounds cooler. and plus theres alot of reloaded around here :rolleyes: lol

Thanks. Question, do you think you could help me iron out some of these bugs? This is my first port ever, and I don't really know what I'm doing lol. A lot of the fixes were from Isaac's MIUI ROM.

@oldmanstatic the difference is that this one is a much more recent version (March 9th) while the other one is from November. So there are tons of updates and improvements in this one. I just have to work out the last few bugs.

sure, one thing id say to do is compare the build.prop that is currently in here with the one from isaacs miui build. there are lines that are device specific that may have something to do with data.
 
Awesome work FroyoShark, hope everything gets straigtened out quick, I'd love to step up from the already-great ROM we have, an update sounds pretty great.

Thank You and I'll be flashing this tomorrow :D. I would flash it tonight but I'm playing Tap Tap Revenge 4 and I can't back up my songs and data:mad:
 
Can someone confirm that downloading apps works after flashing Gapps? I'm busy with homework right now, otherwise I would reflash and test.
