we need something like a cached link to an amazon page that was taken down showing the Incredible being offered with a verizon plan. That would be good for 15-20 pages over night.

I agree with this 100%, as I requested the same type of change earlier. It would be easy to make the initial post of a new thread, the place to continually update with real information. I have seen a lot of bug report threads just like that, so everyone can log in and quickly get the latest info in a consolidated spot.

As far as being lazy, please reconsider that comment. My time is literally worth $5000/hr to my company, based on revenue I produce for them directly. When I or anyone else here says it takes too much time to filter through all the many repostings of the exact same info, over and over, quite possibly we aren't actually lazy, but simply wish to be more efficient.

No one is stopping you from creating a different thread....but this thread has a reputation for being a great discussion thread....Some of us really like the way this thread works, but if you want to create a separate "ONLY INCREDIBLE NEWS" thread, no one is stopping you.

True, that - they only list about 10 items and ALL of which would work with just about (if not every) HTC phone out there now. :(

Haha sorry I wasn't expecting to post that to be anything groundbreaking.. I was just confused as to why anyone would be trying to do that, when I would guess mostly techie's would even recognize the name.

Maybe you should focus more on your $5,000/hr employer's time rather than read online forums, if that's the case.
 
Three more weeks...home stretch...aka the same way I felt before MWC, but I hope I don't get the same let down at CTIA. I also think the specs are going to be better than we all think. We don't know any definite information, but think about this...the HTC Incredible name is visible on the backplate of the first video released, so it probably is the official name. For a HUGE company like verizon to release a phone called the Incredible, they are basically handing out an open invitation to intense scrutiny, criticism and hardcore phone comparisons. So this phone has to be backed up with specs, it has to stand up to everything thrown at it. Or else VZW is going to look really bad...really really bad lol.
 
Truth be told, I'm actually more excited about the time leading up to CTIA than the event itself. As the time draws near, we can only wait to be smothered with gelatinous details, pics and specs.

Its actually 18 days til the 23! So its like 2 and a half weeks!

You can be optimistic like me and think that the Incredible's gonna have over a 5MP camera, and would they be using their highest resolution camera on a mid-tier phone? Not if you ask me. I think the rest of the specs should fall in appropriately and Verizon will deliver this time. It doesn't hurt to dream.

You're counting down too....I think we all were getting antsy going up to MWC too, and then we cooled off when it got close, because we realized it was pretty much European based. This should be a wild couple weeks coming up unless Big V can keep holding the Incredible flood waters back.

Either way I expect a 1Ghz snapdragon device from Verizon released before April 6th (2 weeks after the 23rd).
