Post Your Tasker Charge Full Profile

I am trying create a tasker profile where a sound plays when battery charging is complete. I have followed the examples on tasker wiki but the sound never plays when the battery hits 100%. If you have successfully set up such a profile, could you share your detailed setup. I know it is something small I am missing but this is driving me nuts! Thank you!

For some reason I no longer use (and have deleted) my profile that alerted me when the battery finished charging. But I know that the context I was using was Battery Full (in the Event category), and that I had to set a cooldown time in the profiles property page to prevent it from repeatedly alerting me too often.

Not exactly what you wanted but I have my Moto Bionic say "Battery charge at 100%

PROFILE NAME:
Say Phone Charged

CONTEXTS:

State > Power > Battery Level > 99, 100

Time > 8:00 til 21:00

TASK:

Misc > Say > task edit: "say charged", Text: "Battery charge at 100%", Engine Voice (choose your voice), Stream: Media

I hope that helps somehow!

Dan :)

This worked, THANK YOU!!!!!

Thank you for the info. How would I get the notification to repeat every ten of fifteen minutes?

It depends on how you've got it working so far, and how flexible you are with your 10-15 minute requirement. If you're using a Battery Level context, you can just add a Time context to the same profile, where the Time context is "Repeat every 15 minutes". This works because the Battery Full context is a "state" - the battery level is at or above a certain percentage or it's not. If you're using the Battery Full context (an Event), it can get a little more complicated.

Hey Uncle Mike, speaking of setting a cooldown time, I seemed to have lost some controls/customization on my current version of Tasker after the last update. Didn't that happen to you too?

Thanks

I figured it out myself. In Tasker Preferences, I removed the "Checkmark" next to "Beginner mode". All is well again! :)

I still can't figure this out

Tasker gave me headaches while I was in the learning curve too!

Good Luck,
Dan :)
