Anyone know if this is legit?

Yea if they it got off the servers....means it coming soon. From that site I have seen bug fix updates leaked for months. So it could very well be the official ICS update.

I think its legit. Someone also found a feature I dont remember being on the G Nex...granted I never installed the whole 4.0.3 update, just the radios.
 
They have some screenshots up on droidrazrdotcom and it looks pretty legit... Hopefully we can get a link to dl it.... DO WANT!!!!!
 
I've been following that thread and it seems to bee growing quite rapidly. I can feel the ota excitement building within me!
 
And just so you guys and anyone else knows.... If and when download links show up, leave them over at the other site. You can link the thread, but not the actual download. They usually want exclusives over there, so we will keep it that way. Thank you all for your cooperation on that! ;)

And Phandroid doesn't want a lawsuit from Motorola/Verizon/Google et al for distributing their copyrighted material.
 
Ok so here's my first and last ignorant question for the day...... Wait for it.....

This update would work for the razr and its counterpart the maxx, correct? they are identical, right?

They run the same software exactly. The only thing different between the devices are the rear case to hold a bigger battery and the battery itself.

So yes, the update will work for both phones.

So conceivably as we speak we are on the verge of an ics explosion depending on the complexity leval of this newly released/discovered leak. I'm sure either p3Droid or another Dev will quite possibly will be able to repackage it in a friendlier installation format.
 
So far root has been lost, and voodoo doesn't keep it with this leak. SO unless you aren't rooted, and don't care, don't do it yet.
