The right time for a one x?

Mehta23

I've been looking at the one x and wondered if the tegra3 stuff makes a difference as I year that the s4 version is faster.
Also, if the battery is non removable, how would you reset if it crashes?
Last one, with the release of phones like the SE Satio with a 12mp camera, do you think that the one x's 8 is substantial, or would we be likely to see a bug increase in the next phone. s

if you think that the next release will be better than whats out youll never buy one

One x has a reset button i think

My dersire hd contract was up so i gave that the wife
I was tempted by the one x but went fpr the galaxy nexus
She upgrades in november so i might go back to htc but tbh i am loving the nexus and not having a phone throttled by sense overlay

I don't even know why I am asking. As a kid, I have very little chance of getting my hands on One :-(

I will wait and see if ICS makes any big difference. If it doesn't which I suspect will be the case then thats me done with HTC, my next phone will probably be a Samsung S3. Am sick of the disappearing e mail issue as its still happening on mine after all the updates.

The S4 on the One S seems to do better in processing benchmarks, the Tegra 3 better in graphics.

Yep, I'd definitely agree with that.

Mehta23, if the One X is available in my local Orange shop tomorrow, it will be mine. I'll let you know if it's worth it.

p.s. El Prez, as your heading there soon, could you verify if it has any T-orange bloatware please? ta! :)

I don't think I'll be finding out till the end of the week. :(

You know you can freeze/disable bloat in ICS by default though?

ooooh yeah!!! ICS feature forgot about that...haha doh! but...will we be able to disable the log-on-boot screen? usually carriers like orange and 3 dump their "hey this is orange!" thing (like on my dad's DHD via Orange...)
