When my screen is off, text messages aren't being received. It says it can't download the message. The only thing I have enabled is data saver and auto sync turned off when not connected to Wi-Fi.

It's just texts. It shows a box in the message bubble for me to press and download then says it could not download. The sizes are only a couple KB large, so I know its just texts.
I'm still not receiving texts. It's not all the time, but randomly. Its getting very frustrating. I just get a notification saying the message was not received and then I have to try and download the message from the conversation, but it never downloads. And they're only a few KB in size.
If they were texts there would be no download button. Someone is sending you MMS and then these problems happen. One can send MMS even without media content.
In settings, do you have auto retrieve mms checked? It's happened with six different people. And even if they are sending MMS, why am I not getting them? None of my settings are in a way to block data of any kind.

Yes. Is that a problem?
No, I thought maybe if you didn't have it checked that's why you weren't getting the messages.
I just cleared data on the messaging app. If that doesn't work I'll try a factory reset. If that doesn't work, Amazon OS going to send me another phone. I'm still in the warranty period so they shouldn't complain too much. That would be my third RAZR though.
What's funny is my wife hasn't had any of the problems I've had with hers. I just have the worst luck with phones.
