Just tried to find a samsung care location near me...got this message

Please call 888-987-HELP to send in your product for repair

:p Why do Americans always get the short end of the stick...

stop paying them money and start changing providers ,shift the nexus of an area completely to one provider . It will damn confuse providers  but they lock you down for two years :p ....

I like my carrier...not to mention out of the big 4 carriers in the US they use no less than 4 different type networks mixed together so a 4G phone from one network will likely not be a working 4G phone on another

So true... that is if you could even legally go to a different major carrier from VZW... Which you can't... And T-Mo uses different bands from AT&T for their "4g"... And Sprint is just pathetic as far as 4g goes anyways...

Stuff like this bothers me http://androidforums.com/lounge/529781-why-do-they-but-we-cant.html

If you want iOS buy an apple device...this is me not being rude.

Android has been able to be booted onto iPhones forever... It's the same concept as dual booting on the WP7s... But since all the other OSes are closed source it is harder to get them working on Android, but there is someone getting iOS to work on android... Well at least if they make it past the copyright infringement they got...

Sprint is late on the LTE train...[something about wimax...]...but they should be back soon...rumor has it the EVO LTE will be released this month...once they have it then T-Mo will be the only carrier lacking LTE...now each runs a different part of the spectrum so even if they were to release an LTE only phone it would still be carrier specific...

Yeah I know...the responses from some members are what bothers me...Yeah open vs closed source that is the difference...stop being dumb...

^^not directed at marc...but me not being rude...:D

true... Too bad T-mo is going to be getting LTE though... They were gonna upgrade their HSPA network, but they aren't anymore...

I know... Maybe I just know more about software and how it all works more than other people, but it annoys me to no end when people say stuff like that... Of course you can run open source on pretty much anything, but closed source not so much, unless you pay for it like windows and macos...

things that make you go awwwwwwwwww

Kid who started that thread is like 14, but I agree with your general point.

Wow I had no clue cammy was that young...she isn't the only person in the thread that irked me...there were others too...the ones who wanted to turn it into an iOS/Android debate...
