Root Ics rom...

Hey,

I have never used a ROM before and don't know really were to start...

I want to use one of the ICS ROMs, but don't know which one to choose??

Here is my phone info to make sure I download the correct version for my phone:

Phone: Motorola Razr XT910
Android version:
2.3.6
System Version: 651.167.26XT910.Retail.en.EU
Build Number: 6.5.1-167_SPU-15-M2-3
Kernel Version: 2.6.35.7-g24431a2

Thank you

Make sure to read all the bug reports on any ROM you are interested in. Most of the ICS ROMS are missing certain parts of the total package and may not be right for you.
I am a certified crackflasher and was not really ready to give up some of the features in those ROMs just to try them out. If a ROM is in BETA, you may want to steer clear, ALPHA is even less finished.
As for your system, you are on Gingerbread 2.3.6 that is a good start, I am assuming you are on what's called .173 for your build number, this is important for you to know as the ROMs are specifically geared toward a certain build number.
As always, do your research and follow all instructions to the letter!
Have fun, the guides and moderators are here to help, as are many of us here on the forum. Don't hesitate to ask questions.
Welcome to the RAZR forum, BTW.....

He's got a GSM Razr (not VZW) so it's a different build. ;)

Just in. case that helps find him some ICS ROMs.
