Root Should I Root?

Should I root now or should I just wait for ICS? I'm not sure when ICS will come out and I kind of want to root it now. But if ICS is close, I dont want to have to deal with unrooting to try it and then rooting again.

What are your opinions?

Unless I hear ICS is way off, I'm going to wait for OTA.


If it's confirmed there is a long delay, I'll re-root and try it.

root, get ota rootkeeper and when the update hits, unroot with rootkeeper and save a copy of superuser with that app. take the update and restore root afterward. pretty easy unless they do to us what was done to the droid x with the .621 update, which also made it impossible to revert to a previous build...

The chance of bricking it by just rooting it is almost impossible
