no auidio on downloaded movies

I'm sure it's in there somewhere but I can't really find it sorry, but here's my problem, I downloaded a movie from the internet video plays fine but there's no audio does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

What phone and Android version are you running? Also, where did you download it from?
You can hit up the Google Play Store and search for an application called Qq Player. It may solve your issue.

I have a rooted samsung galaxy prevail, on android version 2.3.6

The site you are downloading movies from is not a legit source for movies. I would recommend you use well-established venues, like Netflix and Hulu. Google Play also will let you rent movies, but when they first established it, they made it so root users could not rent from them. I don't know if that policy has changed though.
