I usually don't have an issue with v2t, if you have Swype, at least the newest beta, has the option to add dragon v2t to it. I've been using nuance dragon programs for 12 years now and love them.
Also somewhere in the settings you can click a check box to improve Google v2t by having Google save your recordings for further analysis. Unfortunately there is no future prompting, so you have to remember not to say any real personal info!
I believe hackers keyboard also uses dragon, and dragon had their own keyboard, flex t9, also a Swype style Kb that uses their v2t engine. I bought it from Google market for $5.99 then three days later it was the Amazon FAotD, kinda pissed about that, as I waited 3 or 4 days while I decided if it was worth the cost and the inconvenience of using a different Kb than I was used to, just to get a better v2t. And I liked the Kb I had, but whatever. At forward 8-10 months... I have not used flex t9, except the first month I had it. Just like Swype better.
A side note on Amazon apps, and why I am not that upset over buying flex t9 right before it was free, Amazon apps have a phone home feature, if they cannot contact Amazon, or you uninstall the Amazon market, they will stop working after about 5 days (never tested it enough to figure out exactly how long), I think wiping the data from the Amazon market app and not logging back in has the same effect. I found this out the hard way when I bought a tablet that was wifi only and took a week vacation. At the time I only used the tablet for things I could not do with my phone, so a data connection was not important, now I use my tablet like a laptop replacement, sometimes...
