Weight Watchers Calculator Testing

Stigy

Some say...
So since I post mostly in the Galaxy Nexus threads everyone in there has a GNex running 4.0 or higher and I need some help with pre-4.0 devices.

This is my Weight Watchers app in the Play Store (it's free): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mattdonders.android.wppcalculator

I have been getting reviews (in Play Store & Amazon) about the decimal point not working. On my Galaxy Nexus the keyboard displays the numbers and the decimal point and when the Calculate button is pressed and a field contains a number with a decimal (1.5, 2.5, etc), the app calculates the points and doesn't throw an error.

Would anyone be able to test this for me on a phone running pre-4.0? I'd greatly appreciate it if you could though!

I tried it on my old HTC Hero which is 2.1 and that has the decimal point.

I'm not a developer, but I'd say it depends more on which keyboard is being used and whether or not that provides the decimal point, rather than the actual OS version.

The decimal point doesn't work on my MT4GS (running stock 2.3.4). I have tried the software keyboard and my hardware keyboard and when pressing the decimal point it doesn't work. :hmmmm:

So it just doesn't appear in the field? Or it throws an error?

Thanks!
