Hi, i have a bit problem with the battery, just got it all new, charged it for 3 hours to full en within a day battery is dead again, not really on internet or such much, just normal use. I tried switching off 3G when im not using but no help. Is it maybe that i still got programs open? Cause im not sure when i middle in a problem and i click home, is the program closed? If not, how can i see what which programs are active at that moment?

Thanks in regards

Since you can use it "normal" use, there is no battery issue.

If it is program/apps issue, then you might have problem with that apps/software.

If no internet, it could be your account doesnt have that option or other reason.

You can view which program running etc, by using task manager.

Or use a program like taskiller to close apps running in the background.

The best way to make the battery last is to follow the default advice for all smartphones;

  1. reduce the screen brightness, have it as faint as you can bear
  2. Turn off unused services; e.g. bluetooth, GPS, wifi off until you need them
  3. lengthen the gaps between data usage; i.e. instead of having email, weather, etc updating every 5 minute update every 30 minutes.

Your battery will also last longer after a few charge/discharge cycles.

Basically what they said. Task Killer and Toggle Settings. Those 2 programs are your best friends when it comes to saving battery. With them I get about 48 hours from full to about empty (< 15%)
