Problems after unlocking G1.

Evening folks,

Sorry if this has been done before but I was wondering if anyone knows of any problems after unlocking the G1?

I was thinking of unlocking it and using my Vodafone sim card in it.

Was just wondering if this was a bad idea?! I have heard certain functions may not work.

Any thoughts?

I have an unlocked G1, and using a Three Sim card in it. I have it rooted, and have no problems at all. As far as I know there is no functionality lost either. I'm sure plenty of others have unlocked theirs too.
