Hmm...then just have realistic expectations...I think you will unless I really don't know you...if you buy a phone that has been out for a year expect it to be old tech...generally here it doesn't cost that much more for a newly released phone compared to an older phone...given we are locked on 2 year contracts in general and get discounted phones so the extra $100-$200 can be looked at as a small additional fee over 2 years

Its different here . After the warranty has lapsed ,rarely you get a phone which is in good condition and reasonable price . (250$ for HTC Desire ? Gimme a break/...)
 
Speaking of phishing ..got a call from my Mom and she keeps getting random emails and now popups asking for.info. She has a habit of click first ask later but is getting better. CPU shows no malware when checking with spybot or malaware bytes...something is wiggy though..any ideas or maybe a factory restore?
 
Buying a new phone is our of the question for me for the next few years. I'm trying to figure out how to pay my cable bill so I can keep playing around here! Besides, my lowly little OV holds it's own against anything else even close to the price range....

Factory Restore ?
 
Factory restore as in out of the box. No the usual programs don't pick anything up but something is going on.
