Welcome Lauren to AF, glad you found us, you question would be best asked in this section here >> Samsung Galaxy Ace

In the meantime you could always pull your SD card out, in out it on your PC and transfer your pictures that way, if your PC does not accept SD or Micro SD cards, then you would need a reader to be able to view it that way on your PC, until you figure out how to mount your phone to your PC from the phone

Try getting the drivers for the samsung website . And make sure that u have usb mass storage on when you connect it

Hey laurenc. :)

Welcome aboard. We are here to help you get the best out of your device.

Here is what you would need to do:

1. Connect your phone (with the supplied USB cable) to your computer.
2. Some phones will actually tell you that you have connected your phone using USB and ask you what you want to do - if your's doesn't, then pull down the notification bar (from the top of the screen) on your phone.
3. Select connect as USB mass storage.
4. A message should then pop up on your computer telling you that a new USB device has been connected and ask you if you want to view the contents. If not, go to "my computer" and navigate to the external USB drive.
5. Once you start to look in the connected USB drive (which is actually the SD card on your phone), then you would need to look for one of the following folders "DCIM", "Camera", "Media"or something similar(these are just possibilities... on my phone it is "DCIM").
6. When you get to the correct folder, you should be able to browse through your photos and then copy them as normal.

Please note that this is all assuming you are using a windows computer.
