Hi everyone, just wanted to say i had a buddy who was a tester for this phone and got some hands time on it. It is a great phone will be my next one when it comes out for sure worth the wait!!!!
 
the test phone my buddy had felt a little different in the hand the nexus one was way better feeling, but its still a good phone though feeling wise
 
Who cares if we're off topic? Who put some of you guys in charge? This I ASSume is an UNOFFICIAL THREAD because it is not official. It's basically boils down to a difference of opinion. You don't want to read "off topic" posts...but the reality is...this is human nature. And you whining...imnsho is just as bad or actually worse.

So are the red accents a definite go if we are lead to believe this rendering is what the released phone will look like? Can't say I'm crazy about them or the contoured back. The view from the front makes it look like an iPhone clone, as much as I hate to say it.

All in all I'm not impressed and may hold out for the CDMA version of the N1 for Verizon or wait for the Desire to come out on T-Mob or AT&T.

nice, I don't see why the back would be real un-comfy. The ridges don't look real thick or pro-truding. I think it'll be alright.

I don't know, I didn't make the rendering lol. I think the red will probably be on it, dunno about the speaker, but around the cam I'd say yes. The contoured back will most likely stay, but until you see it in person, we don't know how bad/good it will be. Being an iphone clone doesn't bother me. It's sleek and good looking. Nothing to crazy. To each his own tho!!
 
Anyone knowhow long a AMOLED display lasts? I mean, is this a 2 year phone then buy whatever's new, or will it last 3+ years if I don't feel the need to upgrade to any phone on the market in 2 years?

It's really too new of a technology for any consumer to know how long it will last, it's very expensive to produce, that's why tv's have not used this in anything larger than Sony's 11" Oled for $2400.

Do you think you could get whoever is doing those renderings to attempt an N1-esqe look? I'd be really interested to see how that would look.

You mean you're not gonna want the HTC Super Duper Awesome due out May 2012 with 2.0 Ghz Dual Core processor, 2GB ram, built in projector, hologram picture, 5G data, and 802.11q wifi?
