Help Do you have screen flex issues or not?

This has been talked about before, but I'm interested in finding out how many people have screen flex issues with their phones and how many do not.

Obviously it won't help with your particular issue, but it'd be interesting to see how many handsets are affected as a proportion of total.

Also, of the people who have flex issues, how many have chosen to return their handset and how many have chosen to live with the slight flex?

Finally, if you'd like to note any other information, such as part of your phone serial number or the severity of the flexing, please do!

normal usage and handling I dont see any flex at all...Im not sure what people are doing to make it flex but I bet it cant be good on the phone.

Mine is ok too. It does ripple slightly, but that's only when I hold it tightly enough to test to see if it ripples.

So basically, with normal use, there isn't a problem.

Excellent. Results so far suggest the issue has been fixed then?

I've tried four demo models and all had the flex issue when pressing moderately on the back/home/task buttons and when pressing the wraparound edges of the screen. Each showed a slightly different degree of LCD flex.

A friends One X has the same problem, but it was one of the first production batch. It's much more minute than on the display models I tried, but still aparrent.

I've just recieved mine. It's currently on charge, I'll report back once I'm off work and can give it a go.

Tried this and mine doesn't seem to flex. I have had mine since day one here in the UK.

Excellent - have you tried pressing fairly (not excessively!) hard while the display is showing a black screen? This seems to be when the flexing is most aparrent.

I've used mine for a couple of days now. There is some minor screen flex when you press moderately hard on the soft keys or very edges of the screen but it doesn't show up under normal use.

It's certianly satisfactory.

My first handset had no noticeable screen flex although i didnt really check for it (i replaced this one because it had a screen banding issue)

My second handset was fine apart from a small amount of flex in the bottom right hand corner.

I decided to live with it as it did not seem to be causeing a problem at the time,

Unfortunatly now there is a small spot of discolouration in the bottom right corner and im am now outside the 31 day instant replacement,
I am looking at taking it into the store this weekend to get advice on replacement/repair.

Thats where mine has gone, it looks a yellow colour & if you press on the screen it leaves a type of water mark. me n the mrs both got one at the same time, mine black hers white she's had no probs with hers yet.

I was concerend about this when i recieved my phone, but then someone on here said if i hadnt noticed other people mentioning it, i wouldnt have really noticed under normal use - which is pretty true tbh, I do have to press significantly hard for the left hand side of screen to ripple. So on that note - no i donsent flex under normal use and i didnt send it back.
