ES Files Explorer - Confused

I installed an SD Memory card on my Galaxy S2 but have yet to find a way to store anything there. Forum suggested ES Files Explorer which I did install. Trouble is it thinks my device USB storage is the SD card and vica versa. I even unmounted my sd card. Still thinks it is looking at SD memory. Anybody seen this before? Any advice?
