Play mp3 files on A855 microsd card

I can make a folder on my droid A855 microsd card and transfer mp3 files there from PC via usb. Now how can I play the mp3 files? Do the mp3 files need to be in a special folder on the droid? Is there an ap that you can tell to play mp3 files in an arbitrary folder? Thanks.

Most music apparently, like winamp, poweramp, and playerpro have settings to play files only from a particular folder.
