I am a week or so behind in my And Dev Class. My problem is that I cannot get eclipse to communicate with the ADT Plugin Software site. The internal browser in eclispe works fine and will connect to different sites. When trying to connect to the ADT Plugin site to download the dev tools package I get a window stating that contacting software sites has encountered a problem, unable to read repository at: (then a link). Then the status bar in ECLIPSE reads: Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found. My teacher has almost given up on it as he cannot find an answer to it. Im guessing there is some kind of networking problem in eclipse or another issue within eclipse. I have also tried downloading the ADT .zip file and using the archive button within eclipse to load it that way...still no luck. Ive tried using http in the link rather than https...no luck. You guys are the experts (hopefully one day I will be) so im really counting on some help here. Thanks to all!

Apps Noob Needs ADT Plugin Help ASAP

Motodev cames with ADT already installed: MOTODEV > Tools & Testing > MOTODEV Studio Development Tools
Ive read some about this but my class is based off of eclipse. Basically we make projects (in eclipse) and our teacher remotes into our computer and checks our work. How similar is moto-dev? Do you think my book which uses eclipse would work? My book is Android Boot Camp.

The motodev is Eclipse a little modified. You can work with him the same way you work with eclipse.
