Question for GS3 Owners

I currently have a Galaxy Nexus, but am considering the GS3. One thing that really bothers me on the Nexus is how quiet the max volume setting is. I often miss email and texts because I do not hear them. Is the S3 the same way, since they are both made by Samsung?

I am sure someone who actually owns will chime in, but in the meantime, I can tell you that I have read in other threads and witnessed on several videos that it is quite loud. One went so far as to say 'obnoxiously loud'. Very welcoming news as I too have to deal with this with my Nexus.

There is imo plenty of volume, however two features you may be interested in are;

"increase volume in pocket" - self explanatory

And

"smart alert" - catches missed calls and texts apparently

So when able to increase the volume of this phone without ROOTING while using the codes to the phone ware and its Blocked/Locked for increasing !
please HELP !!!!!
