AT&T Pre-Order and Release date discussion thread

I believe you. People seem to be seeing statuses change and I also read on the ATT Wireless forums about someone getting a tracking number (unless that was you - LOL) - so perhaps it's moving along.

That's all I need at this point. Not as concerned if I get it tomorrow anymore but the fact that they are finally moving along. lol
 
Mine still says back ordered, but I ordered it on the 14th, not the 6th. The arrival date still said the 21st or earlier when I ordered, so I might get delayed a day or two.

I suspect that the systems are getting updated in bulk as stock is processed. My son ordered his phone in the same store right after me and his is still not showing up as shipped. (You can imagine his consternation).

On my phone it took a while for the status to shift from "in progress", quantity shipped 0, but with a tracking number to finally showing "shipped", quantity shipped 1, and a tracking number. Fedex had their status updated faster than AT&T after picking up the package.

As you can imagine, I am really excited. My first Android phone was a Nexus One, followed by an Atrix, and then the SGS2. The SGS3 is going to be awesome!

Mine hasn't changed since I ordered, which was on the 6th! Kinda getting pissed watching all the Sprint customers get their tracking numbers. :(
 
Yeah just checked my status and it doesnt say back ordered any more .....it still says processing ....but now it says ship date 6/19/12 ...lol todays the 20th ....and it says fed ex as the carrier.....so something is happening here....no traking number ...but its something atleast
 
SO AFTER I JUST POSTED A SECOND AGO..... ABOUT SOME MOVMENT ON MY ORDER ...I CALLED AT&t AND THEY GAVE ME A TRACKING NUMBER ITS NOT ON THE WEBSITE YET ....ITS BEING FED EXED OVERNIGHT ...FOR TOMORROW BY 3 PM .....NO BULLSH*t ...SO I WOULD START CHECKING YOUR STATUS....HAPPY AS HELLL. PEACE
 
I just called the AT&T store by my apartment, and they said they were expecting them to be available in the store on Sunday. Sad that it won't be there tomorrow, but it's better than the 28th.

I got the white one... I was considering bringing it to the store and exchanging it for a blue one, but I think I'm just going to stick with the white. I'll be using a case anyways, so it probably won't matter.
 
While reading the thread, mine switched from Processing (it was backordered earlier today) to "In Progress" with a FexEx ship date of today and a tracking number! Unfortunately, the FedEx site doesn't recognize the number yet... I ordered a blue on the 7th through premier. I checked on https://www.wireless.att.com/order_status via my phone number.
 
Well I just got my email confirmation from AT&T that mine has shipped! I checked my order page and I have a fedex number for delivery tomorrow! I pre-ordered mine on the 14th, kinda surprised to get mine so early. :D
 
I ordered mine through radio shack and they have no information for a release. Their computers still say TBD. I pre-ordered on the 7th of June. I hope I can grab it tomorrow.
 
All you guys that received tracking numbers, did you order it before the 10th?? I did mines on the 13 and it shows in progress? Does anybody who preordered on this date or after have a tracking number?

Yes, I think they are going in order. I ordered mine on the 7th.
