I hadn't heard of Straight Talk before. If you use a lot of minutes, it's an especially good deal. Like you said, it can save you quite a bit of money per year. We have a family plan without a ton of minutes and a company discount, so Straight Talk wouldn't be a huge savings for us. It wouldn't cover the cost of two phones.

I think AT&T need to pull their heads out of their a$$es because on another androud forum this dude order less than 48hrs ago and he is getting his today before 3pm WTF AT&T! some of us ordered right after the preorder started and still have no shipping?
I didnt order till the 10th but i still should expect to get mine before the guy who waited till the 19th!
On another note the store i placed the order in is standing by the apple lawsuit story!

It looks like pre-orders will be delayed until June 25th at the latest.

FedEx tried to deliver my S3 today but refused it. My International model is a keeper.
not sure why I found this so humorous. with everyone out of their minds, the fedex over night isn't even fast enough... and youre like, "yeah, I got one, didn't even want it.. whatever"
I already tripped my circuit breaker on wanting one. It's never worked out well for me anyway, getting one on launch day. I'll hang with my Note until the 2nd or 3rd batch of them. I'm guessing we're already looking at batch #2 with the supposed preorder delay.

I wonder if I can cancel my order. It's still backordered. I did not receive an SMS or email saying mine would get delayed until the 25th. This never happens to the iphone people when they pre-order....

Sweeeeeeeeeet!!!! I just got mine from fedex. Charging now so I can activate it. My new mini sim was already popped off its card and inserted in the phone. Testing I guess? I haven't even turned the phone on and this thing is sexy. Shouldn't take long I hope, battery was half charged already.

I am trying to cancel now. I will wait to see how the iphone 5 turns out, then make a decision. Might turn out better anyways since samsung could work out the bugs by then.

I TRIED to cancel my order but AT&T will not allow it. You can either refuse delivery or send it back with the return lable in the box.

You know, if it wasn't for AT&T to make such a big stinkeroo and tried to one-up everyone by making a big deal that they were going to be the first out of the gate, then maybe people wouldn't be up in arms. I mean - despite some people getting the phones today, I think they over hyped themselves.
That being said - it's probably better this way for me - I'll get a chance to get a case for it before actually getting it. lol

I ordered mine on the 14th and just got it. My last phone I got on contract barely worked at all anymore. I told the agent this when I was ordering, she made it sound like she could expedite my order since I was so late ordering. I wasn't lying either, my last phone crashed while I was on the phone with her. Maybe they have the ability to give people priority? Just a theory, not an answer.

Anyway, am I mistaken - but I would swear that the either the iPhone 4 or 4S had significant pre-order delivery issues and I'm not sure why that is brought up as a comparison.
I hope people keep posting pictures 'cos I like seeing them.
