Root [Sprint/Cricket] Help, Installed wrong Kernal Galaxy S3 - Sprint

Does anyone have the kernal zip file or know where to download the Galaxy s3 model # SPH-L710?

I pushed the UK kernal into my phone mistakenly and now I need the original stock kernal to fix my phone.

Now when I try to turn on the phone or turn on in recovery mode, the Samsung logo pops up and then the phone shuts off. I can still get it into download mode though. That is the only thing that works.

It's always a bad idea to flash anything without making a proper NANDroid first. Also, GSM ROMs/kernels do not work on CDMA devices.

I'm looking on XDA to see if there's a stock version of the CDMA available. Hopefully there is.

Yea a friend wanted to root it and messed up. Oh well.. Just want it fixed now.

Rooted mine today and it went fine. You have to booted it up in download mode by holding volume up and menu and then start. To you root use the older version of odin, not the latest! Any questions just ask?

Yours is a USA sprint phone? Did you use root on this thread .Thanks

Which version of odin did you use. You just used the .tar file you got on this thread?
 
Ok. So I can get into Boot recovery, but the system has been cleared so no android.

For some reason, the phone will not read the SD card. I have mounted the sd card and unmounted still the same result, so I cant install a file from zip.

Is there anyone who has a tar or md5 file that I can flash over using Odin, or know of a way to make the phone read the external sd card?
