Droid Razr running ICS 4.04 on 6.16.211 VZW need HELP with message notification bug!

So I just put ICS 4.04 on my Razr today, and whenever I go to type a text message or any text I get this little icon in the notification bar that looks like a keyboard...

Is there anyway to disable this or are we stuck with this annoying little bug?

It's not a bug. It's how you change the input method in ICS.


OH, and in the future you're much better off asking these types of questions in the Razr section of the forum http://androidforums.com/motorola-droid-razr/, then here in the Verizon section.

Never type anything into your phone.

IMO this is actually much better then the previous method of changing the input method (long pressing in a text field). This lets you easily change the input method on the fly without the risk of losing your cursor location.

This is so pointless for people who have no reason to change their input method. I feel like the old way was much better, I hate having the notification pop up every single time I type something in, its so annoying.
