go to settings.... wireless and networks .... tethering and portable hotspots ....then enable usb tethering..
ALSO check that in "mobile networks" you have enabled "use packet data"
you may have to install a driver on your comp as well...
Install Kies, the ace drivers will be installed along with it.
Now to use your phone's internet through your laptop, there are 2 ways:
1. Usb tethering
2. Enable your phone's wifi hotspot and connect to it from your laptop.
look into the wireless and networks settings and configure your phone for whichever way you prefer.
