The CeltICS Project is now at HALT! No further development can be pursued before we get a way to change the LOCKSCREEN!! Anyone with anything?? I want comments, fast... else tomorrow this ROM can't be released....

And I am making the last minutes adjustments, as the ROM is COMPLETE! I just need the Lockscreen.... Screenshots of the Pre-Release build would be updated in a matter of hours. Be sure to check them out. These screenshots are of that build, which is bound to be released tomorrow.

Till then, I am waiting for you and all the other 10 members to try and find something related to Lockscreen Replacement on Gingerbread. But DO NOT find APPS...

Wow!! I didn't it was this hard to find a guide for the lockscreen!!! couldn't find it :(

Maybe the senior Devs can help us!! I already PM'd some of them. :p

Btw @ aayush.....I hope you dont mind. But if the endeavour for this lockscreen isn't fruitfull.....you can simply insert the Lockscreen from the ICSv1 Rom!! I mean we tried our best right :(

ICSv1? Which lockscreen are you talking about? ICSv1 didn't have any lockscreen. It was still Stock GB lockscreen when the project was closed. Although, we had some tutorial links in that thread, but I've tried all. And nothing works, when you split open the android.policy.jar, it's like 467 files bombarding you of the things you DON'T know!!

I can tell you what's happening here... The image files and the animation xml's are located inside the framework. But, these are being controlled by some files in another folder inside android.policy.jar... And this wasn't enough, MTK also routed some files to control the animations of lock screen inside the systemui and also some files are inside the settings apk's.

I don't know what the hell is going on!! :mad: :mad:

No need of sorry as u were not rude buddy it was my fault as i was just carried away as if was so excited about the rom and then your statement about never devloping a ROM just made me carried so i just wrote what had came in my mind as far as my nature is concerned i m too quite and a person with hell lot of patience but at moment i was just thinking about the ROM and so carried away so

I M SORRY ONCE AGAIN ;)

and as you have mentioned that we are team mates and this all happens in team mates and they wont be sorry so this will be my last sorry to you :p will wont be sorry again :D so please do accept it bro. ;)

Ohh yeah, as far as Team Mates are concerned.... ACCEPTED...

But I need help from you, try to find something about LOCKSCREEN! The project is at Halt you know. We need some serious help....

Buddy just chill ;) i want to suggest you to take a 10 mins walk as the weather is just getting amazing so do it and then with a fresh mind just think of what we are not doing and we need to do in getting our GOAL i am sure you will crack a way out of the problem to get the ultimate lockscreen which will give a complex to all the DROID available in the market :D so if we cant have the ICS lockscreen then we will have the one which wont be available for any DROID so think and haan first have a walk. ;)

TRYING bro as if we need it to complete as soon as possible so one get any way out or any loophole or any link will post it as far as now there are many links but none of them have tried what we are going to do so we will try our best to find a way out and you think in the other way that what we can heve if we cant have the one we are looking for.
 
Guys, I don't think so we would be able to change the lock screen completely. This is to request the Teams permission to use the WidgetLocker Application to Fake the lock screen over the Gingerbread Default lock screen....

As I can see this as the only way out... But, before making a MAJORITY decision.. Please do keep in mind that Applications do crash at some point of time! So if you're showing your new ROM off to people and at that time the lock screen crashes... You won't blame me... :D

Please vote out, and tell what should I do? :)

Keep looking, ALL DEVELOPERS HAVE YOUR EYES ON GOOGLE NOW.... It's time for some rapid search... you have a deadline to meet tomorrow. You guy's have to Release your brand new Custom ICS Android ROM for Micromax A75 to the wide wide world tomorrow....
