I just told my girlfriend in sheer excitement about the box. She asked if I wanted to come to the gym with her. I told her no. Then she said, "Oh you rather stay and talk to you fake friends online then come to the gym with me?".

Don't worry guys.... I stood up for you.

...."They are real!"

Why would they have a fort knox type attitude towards eris deal info?
Considering its on its last leg before EOL, that definitely doesn't make any sense.

I'm starting to go with what someone said earlier about that user. He makes random posts in this thread (knowing that it is one of the most active/viewed threads on the forum) to spam his sig, which has his site.

Agreed about the Sunday delivery. However, I wouldn't necessarily say that about the fact that the phones aren't in stock yet. If they went to all the trouble for Sunday delivery and an embargo, I could see them having the phones ready to ship out the day they are announced to limit the risk of someone showing them off ahead of time. I don't see why they couldn't easily be at stores before the weekend, though I don't know that it will happen that way. I just think that it is possible.

I don't think the sunday delivery means much. It just says HTC/VZW didn't want to use USPS, which is very understandable. I do think we are on the verge of something big though.

Alright, I'm gonna go play on the elliptical for an hour, so MM, I want a full review by the time I get back to check here again.

And that HTC sprung for Sunday delivery means they really needed to get it there. That bodes really well for some kind of anouncement this week. Of course that he only received promo materials and no stock of phones means that the actual release probably isn't happening next week.

Edit: Unless of course he was hiding them from Montana so he wouldn't grab one and run for the door. :D

Looked up the service because Jason was skeptical of a Sunday Fed Ex delivery. They not only do Sunday delivery, but it falls under their SameDay delivery. It is the only shipping option that includes Sunday delivery.

Talk about VZW trying to keep things close!

Another thing about sunday delivery is that it dosent usually get mixed up with the other packages hence less likely to miss ship it to a wrong address and have someone open the box up

Wow! I am flabbergasted and excited at the same time, this is Incredible!!! Now i can never use that word without feeling like an a$$.... :p

From what I understand, VZW typically has new release phones shipped to stores overnight the day before the release.

Also certainly possible and makes sense. OK now everybody, here's your mission. We all need to sit outside our nearest Verizon store all day Friday and stalk the FedEx truck when it shows up. If you see them deliver a large box (or 2) with that spiffy red tape on it you know what's coming.

Definitely agree that we are on to something big, but Sunday FedEX delivery has got to be much more expensive than USPS- hell they could have saved a ton of money if they sent it FedEX for tomorrow. Obviously, it was very important that the mystery box be received by the store before tomorrow.

Welcome to page 200, nice job guys!

On the subject of the official name of the phone, I agree with a post from a while back. The name could very well be changed from Incredible, as they pretty much always end up being something different than the code name used for months before hand. Good recent example was the use of the name Bravo until it changed to Desire. We'll see...

Also in that same regard, the look of the phone could slightly change from what we have seen so far. The Bravo / Desire did (for the better we might note), so it could get even sexier for all we know....

i hate to play devils advocate... but why wouldn't you have snapped a pic? Honestly, this day and age if you don't have a pic more or less it didnt happen. (i'm not saying it's BS, but why no pic?).

Secondly...who gets a shipment on a Sunday? I want to believe...but having a tough time. You sure it's not promo materials for the Eris deals happening now?

1) I was literally shaking with excitement when I was checking out this box. I never thought to snap a pic of it, as it never crossed my mind, AND again, it's a cardboard box with "DO NOT OPEN" tape on it. If a pic of said box will soothe you, I can do that within the next 24-48 hours.

2) You're right, it could be Eris promo stuff, or even N1 stuff. I thought of that. But I have no idea. The red and black schematic to what appeared to be inside was what really got me thinking"Incredible."

3) As to why they got it on a Sunday, it was probably designed to keep it under radar as much as possible. Again, keep in mind that he got the Droid Launch Kit box on a Sunday afternoon - with the same cryptic instructions.

Montana...

How did you remember all that shipping information with the address, zip and phone number that was on the box...? do you have the shipping label or something? Or just a very vivid photographic memory?

Actually it says more then that. It says it was important enough that they paid almost double to have it delivered on a Sunday. Sunday delivery isn't standard for FedEx and it aint cheap.

fair enough... i agree... probably not Eris material with "Do Not Open" on it, haha, nobody would probably care that much.

I also don't think it would be N1...again, nothing new with the N1...and I doubt VZW would be promoting it. Hopefully it's what we all are thinking and the promo stuff will get opened on the 23rd when the announcement hits!

BTW, i would absolutely love to see the pics, even if its a day or 2 out.

thanks!

no no it is not i work in shipping/receiving and that is a pretty penny but worth it when need be

Holy crap man, bite your tongue! You know, the sick part of my mind that likes to believe that things can't work out this quickly for a release of the Incredible actually thought that. It would make sense with a rumored 3/23 release of that phone. If they are not selling/servicing that phone in the stores though, I doubt it would be N1 related.

wow very disturbing video

yeah...be careful with that one markketch. The mods may not like that one.

For fair-balance sake, Jason @berryscoop checked with his sources and they haven't seen anything as of yet. Of course, he told me that before I mentioned the Sunday delivery to him - so they may not even be where they could confirm that today. Like Montana said, his friend was the only one minding his store today.

i was thinking the same thing, i even did what greggds did and look up sunday delivery for fedex and the address for htc america, which i found a different phone number for. there is an htc america in texas as well but the address for wa seems to match up. ill wait for photo documentation from a credible (sic) blog.

does make sense since ctia starts tommorrow so who knows. ill be waiting either way

I looked it up - the HTC in Bellevue, WA is only about 8-9 hours away from me. It's got to be the closest one. If this is just Eris or Droid (Droid has red and black color schemes, too) last-ditch promo garbage I will be PISSED.

EDIT: if you're reading this for the first time, I now realize that it can't be Droid stuff in that box as that's a Moto product, not HTC. Sorry, my mind was racing at the time trying to figure out what's in that box!!!
