Might be a bit of a wait but I'm pretty sure we'll get it, looking at the release schedule for ICS updates on older HTC devices this can take a while, some up to a year.
I'm not so sure about that, if you look at what they've done with the notifications those are huge changes, the NFC stuff looks like it's been built from the ground up too but I'm hoping with the One X being the flagship and the obvious competition from the Korean guys they'll already be working on it.. ICS is great but they've basically said they aren't happy with it, makes me think JB will be something special.I'm hoping it won't be as long as some devices were waiting for ICS, the jump in tech from GB-> ICS was massive (it's one of the reasons why the Cyanogen guys have taken so long with CM9). I'm guessing (and it's a big guess) that 4.0.x -> 4.1 isn't that big.
HTC has officially announced JB update will be available for One X/XL and One S.
"We know HTC fans are excited to get their hands on Google's latest version of Android. At this point in time, we can confirm that we have plans to upgrade our HTC One X, HTC One XL and HTC One S to Jelly Bean. Please stay tuned for more updates regarding device upgrades, timing and other details about HTC and Jelly Bean." - HTC
