Copied and pasted. I know it won't turn into anything, but we got six whole days to pass here in the speculation and humor thread.

I hear ya bud... So do you think Verizon will announce this phone tomorrow no that it will be the 29th? I am betting you start to see some advertisement...

This isn't directly related to the Incredible 4g, but you all have been talking about the new data plans quite a bit so I thought I would share my story.

As you know, Verizon switch to shared data today. I have two phones on a family plan. One is a Rezound with 4GB data limit, unlimited text etc. The second is my phone the original Incredible with unlimited data (!). So after dinner I get a call from Verizon Wireless (on my cell no less). The woman was professional. She was trying to get me to give up unlimited data! THE FIRST DAY THIS SH*/@@# IS OUT! First she offered me an upgrade to the Rezound(?!), and then an upgrade to the Incredible. When that didn't work she offered me 200 free overage talk minutes. Finally she offered me a $20 (!!) statement credit, all if I signed up for a new two year contract. She knew I was onto her so she didn't push when I said no thanks. I bet she got quite a few people tonight though. Just a heads up: VZW is trying to get unlimited data off the books really quickly.

Good luck.

I'm probably buying the Inc 4G at full price FYI.

Eventually they are going to have to. No need to till they got them in store though. Double data would make me take a contract out. Played with the tmobile SIII today. Nice phone. Too big though. Might be a tool for me in my negotiations with customer retention. Planted a seed today with my csr.

Wow. Very interesting. T mobile has plans which throttle your data after you reach your data cap. I could live with that.

Give me that call... I will tell them 4gig for the same price I pay for unlimited now and an upgrade to the Inc 4G... Where do I sign...??

Just curious, was she pushing for just a tiered data plan for each of you, or was it for a shared data plan. Cuz if it was shared data, I can't imagine 200 overage minutes would help when voice is unlimited.

I seriously think this is an intentional typo.
Sneaky ba$*****.
:hmpf:

I don't think I would mind 4 GB.... I just don't want 2. I wonder when they will call me? :P

All this moaning about losing unlimited... but then again, I have never even used 2 o_O I just always feel that I might use more when I get 4g...

That's the case with me as well. While I'm on WiFi 95% of the time (it's considerably faster than Verizon's 3G) once they light up LTE here, I can see myself using more data. That, along with the fact that smartphones & tablets are moving to eliminate expandable storage and forcing you to use cloud services more, means we'll be looking at using more data than we have previously. And that's not even counting all of the streaming media Verizon is going to be pushing it's customers to use. Of course they tell you to use WiFi for that, but I wonder how long it'll be before home ISPs get ticked about cell companies telling you to use their pipeline for any data intensive content and start setting up tiers as well.

Ah Yes, drug dealers. That's what they are. Once you're hooked that's when the hammer falls. Well people it's hammer time. This phone is supposed to get better battery life, which leads me to believe I might not be so hesitant about running out of power. So I might just use more data. Verizon speaks out of both sides of their mouth. They want us to use as much data as they can sell us. Unlimited data is where its at. Got to keep it. If I move to tiered data, and keep a texting package my bill goes up about twelve dollars a month. So I must pay for my phone, full price. It makes more sense.so, now I say NO to tiered data, even double data. Double unlimited is all I'll accept. Final answer.

I think this is a just a simple of case of Verizon employees being terrible at grammar.....

If it were "unlimited talk, text, and data" that would infer that everything is unlimited... same with unlimited talk, unlimited text, and unlimited data"

Since it's unlimited talk, unlimited text and data and NOT unlimited talk, unlimited text and unlimited data there is no unlimited data offering

They probably should have typed "unlimited talk, unlimited text, and data".... (with the comma before "and data")

Or it is all meant to confuse and frustrate their customers, which is my guess:)

Seriously, this thread needs to be turned into a "it's finally for sale thread"... I want to see this phone on Big Reds website already... What are they still waiting for...?

Alright guys, I checked the S3 in store and I have to say it was really nice and not too big at all! The only thing that bugged me a little was the pentile screen but it wasnt a big problem at all. You'll be seeing me here less now, unless I for some reason desire a smaller screen within my 14 day return window.

Honestly guys, the S3 isnt at all like a mini tablet, I would recommend you all check it out in a store before deciding

I'm guessing it's the bezel that makes it seem small enough. I have the blue 32GB preordered. Still feel wrong not buying HTC. Maybe I shouldn't bother exchanging then if it doesn't seem all that bad? Would you say its like holding an old Texas Instruments plain jane scientific calculator? (TI30XA).
