Anyone got in trouble for tethering yet?

I was wondering if anyone has actually got in trouble for using large amounts of data while tethering on the 70$ unlimted plan. The guy at the metro store said they dont give a damn unless its 3g tethering.
 
On my M860, when I downloaded and used the Wifi Tethering app, the next day I was greeted with a page that redirected me to the Terms and Conditions page, saying that MetroPCS doesn't support Tethering/WiFi Hotspotting.

And I was only using 1xRTT :(

The USB tethering though hasn't garnered a care though.

were you on 1xrtt when you were USB tethering?

not so much in trouble just got blocked from metro only when i did it on my laptop not to my iphone.
 
not blocked more like black listed every browser has a user agent code even ps3's browser has a user agent code ive already bypassed it on my ipod touch. metro is just blacklisting anything that isnt a metro pcs product.

for ipod,ipads u need to have a jailbroken device if u dont know what that means google it anyways once u have your device jailbroken on cydia search for User Agent Faker and on that app choose custom and add this code

Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 2.2.1; en-us; SCH-R910 Build/FROYO)

and thats it metro's tether block bypassed!

I tried to use it on my laptop but it was a no go.....
Yes I'm new to the Android Market made the switch from crapple as everyone calls it.... Just trying to get the most out of my phone :D
 
I got my laptop up and running and when I go on Web browser a metro message pops up saying that I don't have access
 
I know what pop up it is, its one from metropcs.com/tether something like that it says metro pcs does not allow tethering or whatever that just mean u did not change your user agent if ur trying it on the link i posted of user agent picker then put this user agent code and save it

Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 2.3.4; en-us; LG-MS910 Build/GINGERBREAD)

^^ copy whole thing paste it on the user agent picker and select reuse this user agent string for new windows and it would work
