But the problem is where are you going to keep the second memory card? It's the size of a fingernail and even if you cased it it would be inconvenient.

Now if the Incredible could hold TWO microSD cards, that would be fantastic. Considering the size of the phone, there has to be enough room for two...

My theory is that the OS is installed on the flash memory (same as the iPhone, for example) and that the 0.86 is just the FREE RAM after the OS and such is running (and theres 1GB total). It's the only explanation that makes sense to me, though the OS installation wouldn't take up that much space... If the 1GB of RAM is 512RAM/512ROM (which doesn't make sense itself, since why would they bother with the 512MB there if they have another 8GB of flash), that could be 512MB RAM+the ROM after OS installation, but that doesn't explain whats on the flash.

Bah, this is hurting my brain (and probably doesn't even make sense LOL).

You talked about how the leak was described, but this was a few pgs back also. Ugh ppl need to stop posting crap so that ppl can actually GO THROUGH what they missed. Come on guys, if it's about Wave, or something gone through befroe. please don't post. Thanks! :D :rolleyes:

The date was a few hours ago. He emailed me around dinnertime.

I agree. I never get in to the "he said/she said" thing cause it's ALL rumors until it's on the shelf. But this one, I feel pretty dern strong about. Just wish he had the juevos to send me pics! :cool:
 
Long time Lurker, first post. Had the Motorola Droid, did not like the keyboard like most people. Took it back with the 30 days. Excited about the incredible, but I have read all the posts and let me tell you this is exhausting...lol

Oh I actually meant a release date...I've heard 23, 27, Apr. 1, 15...just didn't know if you had a real number.

haha I wish he had it in him to send you pics too...just tell him you won't post them on here and then DM them to us! :D

dude, this thread ALONE is exhausting, it's impossible to keep up on this dang phone. There isn't even time to go help out in other threads!

can't get anything on the date, he's all support, no sales. I've known him for about 15 years, he knows me WAY to well to trust me with that :)

Fair enough...hopefully you'll get a bit more info before it officially is announced. The leaks and people finding the leaks are so much more entertaining. I'm going to miss everyone's detective work.

Considering this thread is up to 11k posts now and many of us have read just about every single one (give or take 200.. well, take) I wonder if this yet equals a small novel in terms of number of words read.
