can i install ics to my sd card?

I try to upgrade to ics. Downloads great but when i go to install it starts then it pops up a ! In a triangle and then reboots by itself . When my phone loads up to home screen it says install failed. Then i have to download it all over again. I rooted my phone but i unrooted it now its back to normal. Any help?
 
Its over at droid Razr forums. A Google search will point you in the right direction. And the other file is all included in the utility. It's all automatic
 
You can install it from your SD card if you use the sideload method. That's how I did it.
 
to be perfectly blunt, if you have these basic questions, you shouldn't have rooted your phone in the first place. all of these questions should have been answered when you were looking into how to root your phone. do not DO something unless you're sure you know how to UNDO it later if the need arises.
